Land’s End

Land’s End is one of Britain’s best loved destinations, famous for its unique location, iconic signpost and beautiful scenery. A visit to this, the most South-Westerly point of mainland Britain, provides guests with a chance to awaken their senses by experiencing one of the UK’s most breath-taking coastal landscapes in all its natural glory.

From storm watching as the seas crash over the top of the Longships Lighthouse and taking in the awe-inspiring views from the First and Last Point, to enjoying a walk around the coastal paths and having a picture taken at the famous signpost or looking for a special gift in the West Country Shopping Village, Land’s End is alive with possibility.

With a range of ‘pay as you go’ attractions designed to keep families entertained throughout the summer months, from Greeb Far – perfectly, a restored 200 year old Cornish farmstead, where young and old can meet the animals, to a state-of-the-art 4D Cinema transporting you back to a time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth with a viewing of ‘The Lost World’ – Land’s End is a true ‘bucket list’ experience. The Land’s End Hotel & Restaurant, as well as the neighbouring Saddle & Stable Rooms and the famous First & Last Inn, make this a true destination experience, providing the ideal base from which to explore West Cornwall.

Now, as always through the ages, visitors regard a trip to Land's End as a pilgrimage. You cannot fail to feel a sense of awe and wonder as you stand on the 200 feet high granite rocks that gaze out on the Atlantic and the lost land of Lyonesse.
